The operation may be on the water, but the work starts ashore. ⚓

Having reliable local agency support means knowing that the moving parts of a port call are being handled on the ground. From port formalities and documentation to coordinating with authorities, service providers, owners and operators, our local support helps keep communication clear and the operation moving.

Recently in Ipswich, our team supported Skylift 2 during a tug and tow operation connected with lock gate repair works, providing local agency support throughout the call.

Whether it’s a routine tug call, a tow operation or a wider offshore project, the right local support helps keep everything coordinated from arrival to departure.

Powering offshore projects around the globe 🌍

Seaway7 during loading operations in Ca Mau — a reflection of the coordination and local expertise required to support complex offshore movements.

Offshore projects rely on precise ex*****on on the ground. That’s where local expertise matters. People who understand the ins and outs of port regulations, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and can align every moving part without friction.

From arranging arrival and departure to liaising with port services and coordinating pilotage, towage, rigging and barge operations, it’s this on-the-ground knowledge that keeps projects running as they should. Protecting timelines, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance at every stage.

A busy call in Harwich as we supported the British Antarctic Survey with the arrival of the RRS Sir David Attenborough.

Following completion of their previous project, our team delivered full port agency and husbandry services, assisting with demobilisation before turning focus to preparations for their upcoming mobilisation to Greenland.

Great to see strong collaboration quayside, with our team working closely alongside BAS personnel to keep everything running safely and efficiently.

Last Thursday, VertomCory attended the Nofota Dinner at the beautiful Laurenskerk in Rotterdam.

With two tables filled with valued relations, clients, colleagues, and together with Vership Tanker Chartering, we look back on a very successful evening. It was great to reconnect in person, exchange ideas, and strengthen existing relationships.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We’re already looking forward to the next edition!
