From this summer, any truck over 3.5 tonnes travelling on Dutch roads will be charged. For a typical Euro VI artic over 32 tonnes, that's around โฌ0.20 per km on chargeable roads.
A standard return run from the Hook of Holland to the German border? That's roughly โฌ60-โฌ80 in Dutch tolls, per trip.
The charge applies to all trucks - domestic and foreign - and requires an onboard unit (OBU) to be fitted. ๐ก๐ผ ๐ข๐๐จ, ๐ป๐ผ ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐.
