A new international connection is coming to Inverness!

Discover Airlines will operate a new direct service between Inverness and Frankfurt from 19 June 2027.

Flying every Saturday until 11 September, the service will be the first-ever direct connection between Inverness and Frankfurt and the first time Discover Airlines has operated from Inverness Airport.

The route will give passengers across the Highlands and Islands a new direct link to Germany, as well as onward connections through Frankfurt.

More Dublin? Yes please!

From 25 September, you’ll be able to fly direct from Inverness to Dublin four times a week, as Aer Lingus Regional, exclusively operated by Emerald Airlines, increases the frequency of the route.

That means more flexibility for a Dublin city break, a visit to friends and family, a business trip or for connecting onwards to destinations including New York and Boston.

History, culture, great food, live music and plenty of Irish craic await.

Well done to everyone who walked, ran, jogged or danced their way through our runway at the weekend! What an amazing amount of money raised so far! 🤩 And, the donations are still coming in!

Your energy and enthusiasm made the event truly special, and we're so grateful for everyone who helped raise funds for Maggie's Highlands. Our fundraising total is currently at an incredible £43,522.

There's still time to boost your individual fundraising pot! You have two weeks left to collect and pay in any sponsorship before we announce our highest individual fundraiser prize winner, who will be the lucky recipient of a pair of return tickets on the Inverness to Dublin network courtesy of Emerald Airlines.

Every supporter who reaches the minimum fundraising target of £115 will also be entered into a draw to win an overnight B&B stay at The Crossing, Kingussie.

Our airports are protected by a Flight Restriction Zone or FRZ, where it is illegal to fly a drone without permission, but applying to do so is straightforward.

Give yourself the best start to your trip during the busy summer season.

🌞 Check in online, and download or print your boarding pass in advance
🌞 Check the rules around what you can take through security
🌞 Arrive with plenty of time to check in, drop off your hold bags and go through security to ensure that you are ready to board your flight (even if it is delayed)
🌞 Prepare for security. Currently at Inverness Airport, all liquids, pastes, aerosols and gels must be in containers of 100ml or less, in a clear plastic bag (no bigger than 20cm by 20 cm), and taken out of your cabin bag for screening along with any electronic devices.
