And what better way to kick off the very first Inverness Fringe Festival than with a huge Opening Ceilidh + Choir Night in the stunning Grand Hall of Inverness Town House? 🎉

🎶 The Just Sing Choir get things started with a mix of gospel, folk, pop and world harmony before The Reelig Ceilidh Band, led by Inverness fiddler Rachel Campbell-Hardiman, take over and get everyone on their feet!

Never ceilidh danced before? Doesn’t matter! The band will call the steps. You just bring your dancing shoes. 👞💃

🚧 NIGHT-TIME ROAD CLOSURES | INVERNESS 🚧

Drivers and passengers, please be aware of temporary overnight closures affecting:

⛔ Culduthel Road
⛔ Old Edinburgh Road
⛔ Gordon Terrace

📅 Sunday 6th September to Friday 25th September
🕗 8pm to 6am

The closures will allow Highland Council contractors to carry out footpath improvements and road resurfacing.

🚕 If you’re travelling in the area during these times, allow a little extra time as diversions may be in place.
