At Caley Cruisers we take safety very seriously.

While you are very welcome to bring your own life jackets please don't be offended when our staff ask to check them on arrival. Lifejackets come in all shapes, sizes and styles - but is the one you are wearing the correct one for the activity you are taking part in?

Did you know?

Auto-inflating life jackets need to be serviced every 2 years for personal use. It is not just about changing the gas canister — seals can perish and jackets must be checked to make sure they still inflate and stay inflated properly.

Buoyancy aids are fantastic for watersports and are often more comfortable to wear, but on open water like Loch Ness they simply do not provide the same level of buoyancy and protection as a proper life jacket.
