What a phenomenal achievement for a great cause so close to everyone’s hearts 💕 👏 ⛳️

Apologies for the silence on our page…. We have been keeping our heads down as we master new ways of working … & I know for sure there will be one man laughing so hard at me as he watches me getting soaked cleaning that golf course!!! 🙈…. I can just imagine the posts he would have loved to have written about it!! 🙈😂🤣
We would like to share some exciting news! Cash for kids, have had a final count of all money raised by Gus for his 2026 Golfathon, with the final figure being confirmed at just over £38,000!!!!! This is a massive amount & well over the goal of £20,000 Gus was aiming to achieve!! This phenomenal amount, would not have been possible without the support of so many of you!….whether you donated, sponsored, bought raffle tickets or just supported us along the way we very much appreciate it!
Although the fundraising is done & the raffle was drawn we would like to confirm that the postponed date for the Golfathon itself will be once we open next season.
We feel waiting until then will allow us to be in a better place to run the event in the spirit we would like….using it to celebrate the fundraising & unwavering effort Gus put in to raising such a massive figure!
For all sponsors…. All of the sponsorship material is remaining up at the crazy golf & will do so until after the event so people can see each & every one of you! ❤️
For anybody that was kindly taking part by doing an hour of golf….we hope you are still able to do so & we have a team of some of Gus’s closest friends & family who will be doing the whole 24 hours in Gus’s place!…. Not just one person can step into those shoes!!
I do have a list of all who were scheduled to play, but unfortunately don’t have contact details for you all. Could we please ask that you reach out via messenger on our page or send a message on the business number. We completely understand though that it might not be feasible for you all to still commit, so no pressure!
In the coming weeks Bet & myself are hoping to join the cash for kids team to deliver some of the equipment bought by the money raised by yourselves & in memory of our one & only Gussie!! 💙🦋
Thank you!! Emily, Bet & the girls ###
