Skye tour Friday 21st August, 2026. Our guests asked if we knew of any artists or art galleries on Skye. We took them down to visit Nigel Grounds gallery at Armadale on the Skeat peninsula. They enjoyed the visit and were greatly impressed. grounds

The ruins of Castle Moil in Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye.
A 15th century ruin and clan seat of the Mackinnon’s.
There is evidence to support its history going back to the year 900.
It can be accessed via a footpath from the fishery pier. In April 1951 a hoard of 70 silver coins were discovered hidden in the masonry wall on the western side of the castle.
