Kukla UK-International transport specialising in the movement of beers, wines and spirits. Launched

This is Robert Kukla’s first UK - based company and also the largest of its subsidiaries in terms of investment and potential. New managing director, Steve Wood, along with three other senior staff, Lynda Simms (Commercial Director), Martin Jacobs (Operations Director) and Hannah Webb (General Manager) were until recently part of one the industry’s leading wine and beverage logistics providers and they have brought a wealth of industry and personal experience to the new company.

The heatwave across the UK and the high temperatures in Europe require careful temperature control in beverage logistics.

For wine, beer, and spirits, prolonged exposure to heat can affect packaging integrity and, most importantly, product quality and flavour.

Re**er containers help maintain a stable internal climate throughout transit, protecting sensitive loads from external temperature changes.

But for the re**ers to work at their best, the cargo needs to be correctly prepared, pre-cooled and loaded with airflow in mind. With re**er availability tight across some trade lanes, planning is also essential.
