🌍 As London Gatwick's Environment Week 2026 comes to a close, we'd like to thank everyone who got involved.
Throughout the week, colleagues from across the airport took part in activities focused on sustainability, biodiversity and environmental awareness.
From litter picks around the airport and the River Mole to tours of our Waste Care Centre and water infrastructure, colleagues had the opportunity to learn more about the work taking place to manage resources, reduce waste and care for the environment around the airport.
Staff also explored topics including climate adaptation, resilience and recycling, and joined discussions on the role we all play in supporting a more sustainable future.
Environment Week is an opportunity to showcase some of the work taking place across London Gatwick as part of our wider sustainability ambitions, while encouraging colleagues to learn, get involved and make a positive difference.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the week a success.
