To mark the launch of the Ger Tigchelaar, Holyhead Lifeboat Station’s new Trent-class lifeboat, the team at Holyhead Marine Services were deeply honoured to receive a commemorative glass plaque from Holyhead Lifeboat Coxswain Mark Wade.

The DMS Poppy’s heart transplant, removing her Scania DI16 engines and installing and commissioning new Scania DI13 Tier III compliant engines with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology.

By installing a Tier III compliant engines with SCR technology, the DMS Poppy will produce significantly less NOx and particulate matter, and provide even better fuel economy, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable maritime environment.
