We are looking for a hardworking, punctual and polite driver to join our small family business within the next few weeks 🚛
Based out of our yard in Higham Ferrers the job role will be a mixture of traction work for various companies including howdens and our own pallet/recycling collections and deliveries.
The role can be physical at times and driver would be expected to help yard staff unloading trailers hand ball (bags of polystyrene, 5 minute job) so being an active individual is key.
Generally you’d be doing a 10 hour day on average, sometimes more sometimes less, no nights out.
No you won’t be driving a V8 Scania taking home £1000 per week but we do offer a fair days wage for a fair days work in a modern comfortable lorry, brand snobs need not apply!
