Look what we have had a delivery of 🙌 8 new 20ft external containers, fully ventilated and watertight stored in our secure CCTV protected yard on Burn Lane in Hexham. A selection of these will be available from Monday 28th April for rental.

Coronavirus Update From Britannia GBS Removals & Storage Ltd and Simply Shredding

Dear Customer,

As part of our continued commitment to keeping our staff and customers safe during this difficult period, our contact centre remains open where we can take your calls.

We can continue to provide a scaled down service whilst maintaining the government guidelines for social distancing.

Our advisors can discuss surveys, removals storage, van hire and also our Simply Shredding services.

A reminder of our Warehouse opening times are: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 10.00 - 2pm. All telephone calls and emails will be responded to as normal.

Following the Prime Minister’s briefing of 23rd March 2020 and along with the guidance from our trade body the British Association of Removers; George Bernard Shaw has taken the difficult decision to suspend our removal services until further notice.

The wellbeing of our staff and customers must always be our priority and we feel, based on the recent announcements and the escalation in restrictions, that the current advice makes this step unavoidable.

Over the coming days we will be contacting customers who have booked surveys or removal services with George Bernard Shaw to set out what happens next. Customers can contact our office by calling 01434 609631 or emailing [email protected] we will be monitoring and responding to all calls and emails on a regular basis. Please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

It goes without saying that Britannia George Bernard Shaw wish everyone all the very best at this difficult time.
