Here we are sat cozy in our little home listening to the sound of the rain and dinner tonight was gorgeous corn beef pie with chips and beans, the pie was made by John's sis Murna Hock and it was bloody lush, always a favourite ♥️

Went for a roast yesterday at the The Red lion, Earsdon Whitley bay, fabulous carvery, booking highly recommended, we didn't book and only just got a table,
Next time we will definitely book a table.

So we went and took pictures of the angel of the north at night,
Last night was so clear and lots of other people got great pictures of the aurora borealis (northern lights.).
It's not so lucky, 😞

October is wear it pink for breast cancer now month
So here is my story and my challenge for October,

My "story"

My breast cancer diagnosis was April 2022, I had no symptoms my tumour was found during a routine mammogram and surgery to remove a fat growing tumour was removed 48 hours after diagnosis, then came 6 rounds of chemo, and dna testing with a positive brca1 gene so double mastectomy and diep rebuild in November with overies and fallopian tubes removed in January 2023. I had a few complications after surgery so had to go back in and have re-work on my breasts,
This is a story I didn’t think I would ever have to tell but I’m a fighter and I’m ok, I’m now clear of cancer physically (mentally is a different matter completely, I don't know if I will ever get over the cancer hangover and the fear of it returning somewhere) but i am feeling good (ISH) I have one more challenge (there will always be 1 more 🤣😁🤣) anything we can donate to breast cancer now would be a massive help to help people like me and families like mine recover from breast cancer,

Just had a lovely week doggie sitting this little beauty ( and his sister who wouldn't sit still for a picture🐶🤣)
We are now parked up for a while to do some gardening before we head our separate ways for a weekend on the 18th September,
