JULY DAY TRIPS ON THE LITTLE WHITE BUS

Here’s the first of our July day trips on the Little White Bus. Come and join us for a lovely day out. Run by the community for the community.

🗺️ Day trip to Windermere (Lake District)

Leyburn, West Witton, Bainbridge, Hawes
🎟️ Ticket price: £18 per person (2 tickets remaining)

🗺️ Day trip to Grange-over-Sands
Take a leisurely stroll along the promenade next to Morecambe bay or visit the Ornamental Gardens.

Morning, We'll be doing Thornton Rust lane ends on the 156 whilst there is road closures. Sorry for any inconveniece. Signs says this will be till 19th June, please can someone let us know if the road opens before this? (01.06.26)

The 857 is our Garsdale Sunday service. Linking other villages to Hawes and the station on a Sunday

The Little White Bus is a Not-for-Profit company, we have to tender for all our scheduled services and work hard to meet these needs, 80% of the drivers are volunteers. Every passenger fare and concession card helps us to continue working these services and last year we had 46,000 passengers including dogs.

Our Excursions gives us freedom. Our standards match those on our scheduled services but where we go is not dictated to us, so it's brilliant to get feedback on Trustpilot from customers who use our Excursions too.

Richard Noble was our volunteer Driver on Excursions for many years and he did a grand job. You'll see new faces on our excursions now, but they have the same community spirit as Richard. I'm sure Richard is working hard right now with his Hawes in Bloom work and we look forward to seeing the flower displays around Hawes town.

Went to Ripon a few weeks ago and yesterday to Harrogate with the Little White Bus, both times ...

Volunteer for us!

The Little White Bus run scheduled minibus services 6 days a week from Keld to Richmond, from Hawes to Leyburn and from Hawes to Garsdale train station.

We connect communities that depend on us and our volunteer bus drivers make it possible.

If you’d like to make a real impact on your community, come and volunteer for us. You can volunteer as much or as little as you’d like. All you need is the D1 category on your driving licence.

Notice to 156 users, Wensleydale Voyager, Hawes-Leyburn-Catterick Tesco.

In line with national regulations, concessions on the 156 bus can only be used after 9am Monday to Friday. Concession cards cannot be used before 9am Monday to Friday, journey tickets need to be purchased.

Concessions can be used all day on Saturday and Sunday.
