Today, Hogg Global Logistics Ltd turns 7 🎉

Seven years ago, we started with a vision, a lot of determination, and a belief that a Hartlepool business could compete on a global stage. Since then, what a journey it has been 🌍✈️🚢🚛

Over the last seven years we have:

🏆 Won a King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade — becoming the first business in North East England to win in any category that year

🌎 Built a truly global logistics network covering sea, air, road and rail freight

📈 Grown year on year, creating jobs and supporting businesses across the UK and beyond

✈️ Invested in advanced customs systems and in-house clearance capabilities, including airport badges across UK airports

🤝 Helped businesses navigate huge challenges including Brexit, global supply chain disruption and changing international trade rules

❤️ Supported our community through initiatives including our period poverty campaign and The Book Hogg, proving business can be about much more than profit

📚 Seen The Book Hogg grow from one small library box into an award-winning project that has inspired wider community rollouts

🇺🇦 Coordinated humanitarian aid efforts and supported causes close to our hearts both locally and internationally

Most importantly, we’ve built incredible relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, friends and supporters who have trusted us along the way.

Running a business is never easy. There have been long days, sleepless nights, difficult moments and lessons learned — but there have also been opportunities beyond anything we could have imagined.

To everyone who has supported Hogg Global over the last 7 years — thank you. Every customer, every recommendation, every share, every kind word and every opportunity has helped us grow into the company we are today.

We had a fantastic evening on Saturday attending the PFC Trust Fundraising Ball as guests of Hartlepool United.

A huge thank you to Sarah and Rose for looking after us so well throughout the night , it really was appreciated and we loved spending time with you all.

It was a star-studded room, with so many familiar faces giving up their time to support incredible local causes. Events like this really highlight the strength of our community and the impact that can be made when people come together for the right reasons.

Proud to have been part of such a special evening 👏

It was great to be at the Riverside Stadium today for the Chamber Expo, sharing our experience of winning the King’s Award for Enterprise and encouraging others to consider entering.

Our journey began in 2023, and it’s something we’re still incredibly proud of every single day. What started as an application turned into one of the most rewarding milestones for our business and one we continue to celebrate.

If you’ve ever thought about entering, I’d really encourage you to take that step. You don’t always realise the strength of your story until you take the time to reflect on it.

A brilliant event and some great conversations and hopefully we’ll see even more local businesses recognised in the future.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with partners from across the globe, strengthen relationships, and explore new opportunities for growth within the network.

We’re incredibly proud to have Jamie flying the flag for Hogg Global overseas and showcasing what we’re all about. He’s always pushing us forward and in to new opportunities.
