Ullman Sails Solent

Not every boat needs another sail.

But if there's a gap in the inventory, you'll normally know about it.

That awkward wind range where you're asking a little too much from one sail and not quite enough from another.

That's normally where we'd start the conversation about adding a reaching sail. What are you sailing now? Where does it stop working well? And what do you actually want the new sail to do?

Sometimes the answer is another sail. Sometimes it isn't.

We’ll answer some before Southampton, and take the rest with us to the show.

Some weekends, all you need is a boat, a breeze and nowhere else you need to be.

No schedule. No rush. Just a few good hours on the water.

Southampton is on the horizon. 👋

We’ll be at the Southampton Boat Show from 18–27 September, ready to talk sails, sailing and what you want to get out of your boat next.

Whether you race, cruise, or sit somewhere happily in between, come and find the Ullman team at the show.

More details to come over the next few weeks.

Before Southampton, we want to know who we’re talking to.

Racing every weekend?

Heading offshore?

Cruising whenever the weather plays ball?

Or a bit of everything?

Tell us what you sail below, and if there’s something you want to talk to the Ullman team about at Southampton, let us know that too.

While most people only see the finished sail, they're one of the many skilled hands behind it.

Every sail has a story. This is part of where it begins.

Throwback to Running With Scissors celebrating their Lipton Challenge Cup success in 2025 in Cape Town. Moments like these remind us that every sail carries the fingerprints of the people who built it.

Every crew has its own personalities.

The skipper, tactician, the one who always packs too many snacks.

The one who's convinced they can predict the wind better than the forecast.

Those little roles become part of every sailing story. Who's on your regular crew?
