Another Saturday morning on the move! 💪

Today’s project involved lifting, transporting, and expertly positioning a complete mattress manufacturing line. From precision crane lifts and low loader transport to carefully skating each section into its final position, every stage was completed safely and efficiently by the SKH team.

Another smooth delivery completed this morning at Immingham. 💪

Our crane wagon safely offloaded a 3.5-ton transformer along with its GRP housing, using a spreader beam to ensure a controlled and precise lift. A straightforward job completed safely and efficiently thanks to the team.

Another successful relocation completed by the SKH Machine Removers team.

This week we were proud to assist Britons with the relocation of a collection of college machinery to their new education centre in Stockton-on-Tees. From careful loading and transport through to precise positioning on site, every machine was handled safely and efficiently to help keep the project on schedule.

HEAVY METAL ‼️ ⚠️

Another productive day for the team, covering a wide range of lifting and machinery relocation work.

✅ Relocated knitting machines, with obsolete units safely removed for recycling.
✅ Removed and scrapped a punch press.
✅ Unloaded and positioned a Japanese loom from a shipping container.
✅ Collected three engineering machines for a customer.
✅ Completed a delivery and return collection of lathes.

No two days are the same, but with the right equipment, planning, and experienced crew, every job is completed safely and efficiently.

🏁 Day 5 – James Chamber & Garrards Timber Machinery Relocation Complete 🏁

Today marked the successful completion of this major woodworking machinery relocation project for James Chamber & Garrards.

The final day involved relocating the dust extraction unit using our S7 low loader, along with the remaining machinery into the new tool shop. With brand-new flooring in place, extra care was taken throughout, utilising protective sheeting and machinery skates to ensure all equipment was moved safely while keeping the floors fully protected.

Over the last five days, our team has successfully relocated multiple woodworking machines and associated equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring a smooth transition to the new facility.

A fantastic effort from everyone involved and we’re proud to have played our part in delivering another successful machinery relocation project.

🚛 Day 4 – James Chamber & Garrards Timber Machinery Relocation Project 🚛

The project is nearing completion as we move into Day 4 of this major woodworking machinery relocation for James Chamber & Garrards.

Today’s work saw the team continuing the safe removal, transportation, and positioning of specialist timber processing equipment, ensuring everything remained on schedule and was handled with the utmost care.

With multiple machines successfully relocated, it’s been another great example of teamwork, planning, and precision from the SKH crew. Every stage of the move has been carefully coordinated to minimise downtime and keep the project progressing smoothly.
