🌟 45 years. 🌟 What an incredible milestone!

Today we're celebrating Mark Hoyle, who has now been part of Sheard Packaging for 45 years.

From starting after what was probably the quickest job interview in our history to becoming one of the longest-serving members of our team, Mark has witnessed decades of change and quietly played a part in shaping the business we are today.

For most of our colleagues, Mark has simply always been part of Sheard. In fact, he's been with us for longer than over half of our current workforce have been alive.

Thank you, Mark, for your loyalty, commitment and everything you've contributed over the last 45 years. Congratulations on an amazing achievement from everyone at Sheard. 💙

At the end of April, Jamie Earley retired from the corrugated industry after an incredible 39 years, the last 3 at Sheard with us 📦

Over that period, he’s become well known and highly respected by both colleagues and customers, Jamie has been a valued part of Team Sheard. His experience, knowledge, personality and steady approach have made a lasting impact across the business which will be felt for many years to come.

He’s now swapping corrugated for canvas and cabins, co-running his glamping & holiday let business.

Ahead of the arrival of our new Bahmüller machine next month, a group of our team have been over to Germany to complete training directly with the Bahmüller team, building knowledge early so we’re ready to hit the ground running from day one.

A huge well done to the team who took part and a big thank you to Bahmüller for their support and partnership throughout 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻

A slightly different take on Earth Day for us this year 🌍

Alongside our monthly food trucks, we shared a simple comparison of carbon footprints across different meal options… and the results surprised a lot of us. Who knew the difference would be so much?

It’s not about being perfect, just being more aware of the choices we make every day, and sometimes choosing the less impactful option.
