At the end of April, Jamie Earley retired from the corrugated industry after an incredible 39 years, the last 3 at Sheard with us 📦

Over that period, he’s become well known and highly respected by both colleagues and customers, Jamie has been a valued part of Team Sheard. His experience, knowledge, personality and steady approach have made a lasting impact across the business which will be felt for many years to come.

He’s now swapping corrugated for canvas and cabins, co-running his glamping & holiday let business.

Ahead of the arrival of our new Bahmüller machine next month, a group of our team have been over to Germany to complete training directly with the Bahmüller team, building knowledge early so we’re ready to hit the ground running from day one.

A huge well done to the team who took part and a big thank you to Bahmüller for their support and partnership throughout 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻

A slightly different take on Earth Day for us this year 🌍

Alongside our monthly food trucks, we shared a simple comparison of carbon footprints across different meal options… and the results surprised a lot of us. Who knew the difference would be so much?

It’s not about being perfect, just being more aware of the choices we make every day, and sometimes choosing the less impactful option.

We held our first Sustainability Taskforce meeting of 2026 today. A really positive way to kick off the year 🌱

It was great to get the team around the table, including some new faces, this month we spent time talking through our revamped sustainability strategy, the recent progress we've made towards our targets, and our upcoming Sustainability Report which we're looking forward to publishing next month.

A big thank you to our suppliers, customers, and employees for their continued input and collaboration, and a warm welcome to Katie, who joins us as our new Sustainability Lead.
