Hollowell Steam and Heavy Horse Show Event that Supports Local Charities and Good Causes So here we are again, back as Hollowell Steam and Heavy Horse Show.

So after this years show Allen & Jane have now stepped back into retirement after putting on the excellent one off Hollowell Steam and Vintage Rally 2022, as like a lot of us, they didn't want to see the local community suffer from the lack of funds after two years of a global pandemic. Preparations for next years show will be starting soon. We hope to put on a similar show to 2022, but with a few

more exhibits and traders. Keep checking in to our page and main Website Page for all the updates, as and when they become available. Until we meet again on that field that is forever Hollowell Steam .... stay safe!!!

Come and see the Vander Super Heroes Wheel of Death Show.
The Vander Wheel is an aerial stunt show on a 9-meter rotating steel structure. The performers carry out stunts both inside and outside of the revolving cages.
We have secured the 4 Wheel stunt structure. They will be performing over the 2 days

Coming to a letterbox soon, the majority of passes have now been posted out over the last few days.
Please bear in mind how the postal service is at the moment and could you wait until the beginning of next week if you need to chase them (15th June). Hopefully the post will be kind and deliver them sooner rather than later to you all.

Good news for us as an event, but bad news, unfortunately, if you were looking at bringing an exhibit or hoping to camp at our event. We are now FULL and at this moment in time we are not accepting any more exhibits or anyone wishing to camp.

Next up we have Jason!

He has attended the rally almost every year, volunteering for more than 20 years, and this year marks his fourth year serving on the committee.

An interesting fact about Jason is that he was christened using water taken from a traction engine at Cadeby steam rally, by the late Rev’d Teddy Boston, owner of the famous Foster traction engine Fiery Elias — the inspiration for Trevor the Traction Engine in Thomas & Friends.

As previously mentioned - passes and paperwork will not be sent out until the towards the end of week commencing 1st June. We know you are all getting excited to receive the paperwork for our event. But if we can just ask you to bear with us. If you haven't received your paperwork by the end of the 2nd week of June then please feel free to message us. Please also take into consideration that the post is not the best at the moment. There may be a delay in replying to any questions or comments at the beginning of next week as we will unavailable for a day or so but we will get back to you as soon as we can.

*** FLYPAST ***
I am very pleased to confirm that I have received confirmation that our event is being supported with a flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (Official) on both days.

The RAF have changed how they notify people this year, so the aircraft type and timings will not be known until a few days before the event.

As always, we are extremely grateful to the BBMF for supporting our event and we must remind everybody that the flypast is subject to weather and aircraft serviceability on the day.
