🚍 **£2 bus fares are coming back in 2027 — and 1st Bus Stop will be taking part!**

The national bus fare cap is set to return to **£2 from 1 January 2027** for participating services across England.

That’s great news for local passengers, pupils, parents and commuters using buses around Gravesend, Dartford, New Ash Green, Longfield, Meopham, Vigo and surrounding areas.

Affordable bus travel matters — especially for daily school journeys and regular local trips.

We’ll share more details closer to the time, including which services are included.

For now, this is a positive step for local transport, and we’re proud to be part of it.

🏰 Proud to Announce: 1st Bus Stop is Now an Official Preferred Coach Hire Partner with Leeds Castle

We're delighted to share that 1st Bus Stop has been selected as an official preferred coach hire partner for Leeds Castle, one of Kent's most iconic heritage destinations.

Schools across Kent can now benefit from our partnership when planning educational visits to Leeds Castle. Our modern fleet—ranging from 16-seat minibuses to 72-seat belted double-deckers—ensures we can match the right vehicle to your group size while keeping costs down without compromising on safety or comfort.

You can find us featured on their official coach hire page alongside other trusted operators: https://lnkd.in/em97HTx6

This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting educational visits and providing reliable, safe transport solutions for schools throughout Kent and the surrounding areas.

A big thank you to Helen and Lauren at Leeds Castle for their support in making this happen. We're looking forward to a successful partnership ahead!

Another great day on the road for 1st Bus Stop Limited! 🚌

We had the pleasure of transporting a brilliant group of Millwall FC supporters in 2 of our coaches up to the King Power Stadium for their match against Leicester City last Friday — and what a result, a draw! A fair share of the spoils on the day.

Millwall are having a fantastic season and promotion talk is very much in the air — we're right behind them! It's always a pleasure serving passionate supporters groups, and this one didn't disappoint.

Whether it's a one-off matchday trip or a regular supporters' run, we've got the comfort, reliability and capacity to get your group there and back safely.
