Dogs are very welcome, but we kindly ask that they are kept on a lead at all times. This helps protect the wildlife that calls the course home, particularly ground-nesting birds like these Oystercatchers!

These two special ponies are at the heart of what we do. With their calm nature, kind personalities, and years of experience, they help create memorable and enjoyable experiences for everyone who visits us. Whether they’re helping newcomers gain confidence around horses or being the perfect driving partner, Benji and Holly are always happy to be part of the adventure.

They may have four legs, but they’re very much part of the team, and we couldn’t do it without them!

🐴 PARTICIPANTS WANTED FOR EQUINE DISSERTATION STUDY 🐴
Hi everyone,
As part of my 4th year studying for a BA (Hons) in Equine Business Management, I am conducting research for my dissertation to determine whether horses and ponies show a preference for being ridden or driven.
I am looking for participants who have horses or ponies that are BOTH ridden and driven, and who would be willing to help by:
• Videoing their horse/pony being ridden
• Videoing their horse/pony being driven
• Completing a short questionnaire
* Please note that there is also an option to just complete the questionnaire if you are not able to submit videos.
The study aims to explore behaviour, attitude and responses during both activities, and all contributions would be greatly appreciated.
All information collected will be treated with the strictest confidence and anonymity, and all data will be used solely for academic research purposes.
The research will not be conducted till later this year, so if you are interested in taking part, please DM me your email or email me at [email protected]
