With all this warm weather especially during half term, emergency services are seeing a rise in water-related incidents.
Tragically during this heatwave several people have lost their lives after getting into trouble in open water.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) are warning people to be aware of the risks of open water, especially the risk of cold water shock.

Quarry water can look very inviting on a warm summers day but the reality is it's extremely dangerous, often very deep, very cold and can have sudden changes in depth.

The warning signs are there for a reason, please stay out of quarries, please stay safe!🚫⛔

If you see someone in trouble in the water: PHONE, FLOAT, THROW
- PHONE 999 immediately
- FLOAT – encourage them to stay calm and float on their back
- THROW something that floats to help them until the emergency services arrive – do not enter the water yourself

Trevor started working for The Cullimore Group back in April 1989, today, he retires after an amazing 37 years here with us!😮

After weeks of growing some seriously impressive beards, Simon, Steve & Karl are taking on the Half-Beard Challenge… and yes, it’s exactly as ridiculous as it sounds. 😅
