Steaming over from our sister railway High Legh Miniature Railway 'Best Mate' and Hunslet 'Fred' will be running services all day.

Introducing Tango! 🟠

Fresh from our sister railway High Legh Miniature Railway, we have our heavy duty hauler that doesn't mess about 💪.

We will be testing Tango with SIX coach trains tomorrow (Wednesday 1st April) between 11:00 - 12:00 if anyone a ride FREE OF CHARGE.

Looking forward to seeing you, watch this space for more exciting news for this Easter Sunday.

Afternoon all, despite our testing and being out for 10:30 this morning, Caleb and Adrian found an issue with one of the coach bogies that they weren't happy with.
We took the decision to stop at 12:00 - apologies for any disappointment to visitors to the park this afternoon.

Fortunately, a replacement bogie is already ready to go from the sister railway High Legh Miniature Railway and a 2nd set of coaches as well.
Trains commencing tomorrow morning, apologies again for any disappointment.

Established in Easter 1970 the Manor Park Miniature Railway has provided entertainment for over 56 years! It's current operator is Adrian Sowden, since 1991 Adrian has entertained families for over 35 years and now with help from the team at High Legh Miniature Railway, General Manager Caleb Lovegrove will be working closely with Adrian this season to provide entertainment, regular reliable train services & guaranteed smiles every weekend with brand new & improved stock.

With services commencing Saturday 21st March 2026, we hope you'll continue to enjoy one of Glossop's most cherished attractions.
