Trips to the train stations came to 172: 150 to Markinch and 22 to Thornton.

Only one trip separated them.

It says something about how people use Dhillon. A taxi is not always the whole journey. Sometimes it is just the bit that gets you to the bus stop or the platform, and home again afterwards.

Markinch Train Station had 292. Thornton Train Station had 55.

So bus wins on its own. Train wins when the stations are combined.

Either way, a lot of July taxi trips started or ended with someone trying to catch another way of getting somewhere.
