It’s been a very busy period for Quick Moves in the last month and going in to August. Varied removals from domestic, storage and office removals… we have been busy.
We are very sorry that we can’t fit in the “last minute” removals that phone on the day of the move. That simply can’t happen when there are removals already been booked in for months.
I would ask people to do their due diligence and make sure the companies they book in are vetted, insured and most of all show up on the day of the removal.
Unfortunately with the way house sales are conducted in Scotland we can be delayed waiting on key release, the most recent being after 5pm.
As a company that have staff payed by the hour waiting time charges are in place and will be in place for every key transfer removal going forward.
I would also like to add the fact that some customers are simply not ready to move when we arrive. We understand that house removals can sometimes not be confirmed to the the day before or there have been unforeseen circumstances that mean items are not ready to move. Please do all you can in the time you have to pack properly and prevent breakages and help us to move items in a safely manner.
Also as we are doing large house removals it seems to be Thursdays and Fridays that are most popular. These days are always booked well in advance and we apologise if we cannot fit you in on one of these days.
There are other days in the week Solicitors!!
To round all of that off here are a selection of some of the places and vans we have been at.
Midsomer Norton
Somerset
Tarbert
Paisley 😂
Coatbridge
Most areas in Glasgow.
City centre during heatwave with about 3 movies being filmed around us!
We even had a recovery job picking up a broken down motorbike at Loch Lomond.
And one of our staff had a friendly run in with a hot dog…if you know you know..
Have a lovely weekend.
