It’s the weekend 🥳🥳🥳

Mummy (especially) and daddy had a busy week at work, Cían and Eilidh back at school after the Easter break, Eilidh is away at Centrestage and Cían is playing some Rocket League on the XBox.

It’s a beautiful day here today, but think everyone is in need of a chilled out day to recuperate. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as nice and we can see what fun we can get up to!

Hope everyone’s having a great weekend, and for those that have to work hopefully it’s a nice easy shift!

Hello again!

On Sunday we took the short drive up to the Glasgow Science Centre 🔬 for a day of fun and learning!

The Glasgow Science Centre features interactive exhibits and displays on various scientific topics, including physics, biology, and technology. The center also includes a planetarium and an IMAX cinema. It's a great place for both children and adults to explore and learn about science in an engaging way.

We all had loads of fun learning about all things scientific and interacting with the exhibits as this is very much a hands on day out!

There are loads of very helpful staff wandering about and interacting with you and giving you a bit more information on the exhibits.

After about 2 hours of fun our tummies were a-rumbling so we headed down to the cafe for a spot of lunch. The kids got to make up their own grab bags whilst Mummy and Daddy had some paninis and coffee. Oh and almost forgot about the cakes 🍰 🤤 The lunch was very tasty and well priced for an onsite cafe!

Once our belly’s were full we headed back upstairs for some more fun before heading to the planetarium 🪐 for an interactive show that was brilliant!

Our day had flown in and it was almost time to leave, but not before a quick look in the gift shop then back to the car for the short ride home 🚙

Hi!

On Saturday we had a wee road trip 🚙 down to sunny(ish)🌤️ Stranraer in Dumfries and Galloway to meet family that we haven’t seen in far too long!

The long drive down the A77 was quite straightforward with the roads surprisingly quiet even though it was the last weekend of the Easter holidays 🐣

We started off with some fun at the play ground 🛝 in Agnew Park, then took a walk along The Glebe/Gallowhill with the dogs 🐶 before heading to another play ground 🛝 at Stair Park.

The day was rounded off with some Domino’s pizza, before the long drive back home and an early night for all as we had another fun filled day of adventure planned for Sunday!

We live in Ayrshire in the South West of Scotland, where there is plenty to do in some of the most beautiful scenery!

We hope you enjoy our posts and they give you ideas of some places to visit and things to do with your family!
