Hidden in the Howardian Hills, the miniature railway at Gilling East has been delighting visitors for more than 40 years.

Built and operated by the Ryedale Society of Model Engineers Limited - RSMEL, this remarkable railway is the result of decades of dedication from a passionate community of model engineering enthusiasts.

Public rides run on most Sundays from 5th April to 4th October, offering an opportunity to experience miniature steam travel through the countryside.
