Busy old week on both sides, driver off so out on the road all week for me, need a week at my desk to recover 🫣 fuel is now at a record high in my 30 years in business, quick calculations means a small business like ours needs another £182000 a year to fuel the trucks, companies going bump right left and centre! Uk Government?? Never done anything before so don't expect anything now, it's a massive vicious circle, our costs have risen by 50% we pass this on where we can to our customers, but it's never well received and doesn't actually cover the full amount, this then makes them push their costs up which in turn hits Joe Public in the pocket, inflation? Are we surprised, government raking it in with the extra taxes on what is now 50% higher on fuel than start of the year and yet no support!! It's ok though you can ride the bus in Manchester for 2 quid and we all saved £40 a year on our heating bills with the Vat reduction.
Anyway broken the double digits barrier, 98 days till Christmas and the McCann family holiday, we may not come back 😁🚛🚛🚛🌲🎄🦌⛄🎁🎁
