Another week destined for the History books, canny week on the pallets, steady away just how we like it, desperate on general but we were down on numbers so not the end of the world!

We're looking to recruit two new team members, both LGV1 roles description below, please share to get the word out, if you're interested or have any questions please send me a message.

LGV1 tramper, Monday to Friday on Ferry trailer operations out of North eastern ports, mainly covering North East and Scotland, the bulk of the work is central belt but often get upto Aberdeen/Peterhead areas, also at times into the Highlands and even been seen right at the top in the Thurso region.
Gross (GROSS) earnings in the £43-£46k region plus nights out on top.

LGV1 Night trunker on our Pallet-Track operations, double decker trailer from our site in Blaydon to the hub at Bilston then back to Blaydon, the job itself is mainly driving, tip and reload then back up, start times between 5:30pm/6pm and we operate an alternating system, trunk one which on average finishes between 03:30-04:30 and trunk two who averages 06:00-06:30 finish, this role is suited for the experienced night shift worker, it's not the role for everyone.
Salary paid position currently at £43420 with a review to take place later this year.

Both positions require a minimum of two years LGV1 driving experience for insurance purposes, valid dcpc,

Still only a few pics of this week's action, must be the sun, shadows and all that 🫣 Fuels shot back up in the last three weeks, 20p a litre in that time, general haulage quiet, one day the Iran conflict will come to end 🙏🚛🚛🚛

Not many this week, both trunks papped by a fan this week southbound and down! McCann Junior on work experience at MAN this week, treading in his Grandad's footsteps for a couple days in the garage then a few days on parts / service desk, glowing reports from all on the valley so cannot ask for more than that as a parent 👊🚛🚛🚛
