It was awesome to be out guiding Bryan, Craig, Scott & David on the Mountain Track today.

We lucked out with weather, with stunning views all day, including an extended temperature inversion in Glen Nevis.

It was a hot one today, with little breeze, so we started early at 7 a.m. & were back off the hill by 13:40.

The team had prepared well with a couple of practice ascents of Ben Lomond, and that training really paid off.

What’s it like to climb on a clear day?

This video was from just a few weeks ago when there was still some snow on the summit plateau - that snow has now all been stripped away!

Today was a dreich day on & we spent most of the day in the clag.

We were guiding a 3 Peaks group of 15 clients.

1 client dropped out halfway up ‘heart attack hill’ & another couldn’t quite match the required pace, but put in a solid effort to reach 1,200m before cutoff time.

Every day on the Ben is a good day!
