British Regional Transport Association (BRTA) had its AGM at the Guildford URC Jubilee Room in Saturday 12th July 2025. It has been a remarkably busy year and we are streatched for team, resources and coverage. Media blackouts seem apparent as per select places of power and agencies. But it amazes us how the best kept secrets can show themselves to be self interested, vested interests or fail to stand back and put into a wider context 'focuses' and the inadvertent making of a siloed society, has a down-side for those not included and the disenfranchsing of others as well. Cohesive society is what we need whereby everyone feel and are treated as valued individuals in their own right, everyone has a story to tell and as stakeholders regardless of money, power or embellished networking. BRTA is open to all, we welcome new members, donations and offers for reliable, consistent voluntary contributions. BRTA needs building up, but punches above its weight. I am proud of BRTA and what is does and is about and I was elected by the members present for another year as CEO and Campaigns Coordinator. So, there, I was elected, not appointed by a single agent, but the collective based on merit than pocket size or mouth! Please consider joining BRTA and help get Great Britain on track, not folly!

Given locked-in vehicle use has been deliberately designed over 65 years, surely logic dictates it can be un-designed and pro-affirma alternative chocies and affordable costs can also be done now? BRTA calls for nationwide re-railing to make that easier!
