There is absolutely no pressure—just having you along for the journey is amazing. But if you do fancy chipping in for the next tank, AND only if you are really sure you can afford it, Betsy and I will massively appreciate it! See you out on the road. ✌️

*Subscriber Ride-Out – Peak District – 14th June 2026*

I’m really looking forward to our first subscriber meet-up, and I’ve now finalised the meeting points and timings for the ride.

You’ll find the planned timings below. I’ll do my best to keep us on schedule, but as we all know, bike stops can sometimes take a little longer once everyone gets chatting!

The full route is around 90 miles, so please arrive with enough fuel for the whole ride, as petrol stations are limited along the way.

The official meeting point is Store First, Ashroyds Way, S74 9SB. If it suits you better, please feel free to join or leave the ride at any of the planned stops.

We’ll be using the second man drop-off system for the ride.
It’s a simple way to help everyone stay on the correct route without needing to ride tightly grouped together.

I’ll indicate to the rider behind me when I need them to stop and mark a junction for the rest of the group.

If that’s you, please point the direction for the riders coming through.

There will be a clearly marked back marker, so please stay where you are until they indicate that everyone has passed and you can set off again.

Please respect all traffic lights, junctions, and speed limits throughout the day. It’s all about enjoying a great ride together and taking in the fantastic views — not racing — so please don’t overtake within the group.

Directions

From the M1

To reach the meeting point from the M1, leave at Junction 36 and follow signs for the A6195, Dearne Valley Parkway. There is a service area with a petrol station on the A6195 if you need to fill up before the ride.

Continue on the A6195 for around 1.5 miles, then take Exit 2 at the roundabout and follow signs for N.M.T.F., Hampton House, and Platts Common Industrial Estate.

Take the first right, then turn left into the Store First car park. Please head to the far end of the car park, where I’ll be waiting.
