Meet the team time..

MEET BEN 👋

Ben has been part of the Kedan team for 3 years and looks after the imports department.

Having started his working life with a paper round, and going straight into logistics.. Ben has seen a few changes in the logistics industry (not to give his age away) including the introduction of the revolutionary concept of having more than one computer in the office with internet access! 🦖

Based in Felixstowe, Ben's approach to tea is simple: coffee only! And his answer to what he couldn't work without? Coffee!

We also asked Ben what's something that people would be surprised to know about him. Although he struggled to answer this one, the rest of the office can tell you that he can't walk through the middle of Lidl without buying an unnecessary tool for his next self taught DIY project!

China Golden Week 2026

China's Golden Week takes place from the 1st-7th October, with businesses and factories across the country closing or operating on reduced hours.

During this period, shipping schedules may be affected, with potential delays to cargo movements and customs clearance.

If you have any shipments moving to or from China, we recommend planning ahead and allowing extra time where possible.

For any questions about your shipments, please get in touch with our team, we're always happy to help! 👋

Meet the team, episode 3.. Meet Scott! 👋

Scott is our newest member of the team and has been with Kedan for 10 months.

One thing he's already learnt since joining us is just how many different parts have to come together to get a shipment where it needs to go!

Outside of logistics, apparently there's nothing that would surprise us about Scott... so we'll just have to keep digging 👀

And the one thing he couldn't work without? Jack 😉 and his desk fan. Priorities!

MEET SAM 👋

Sam has been part of the Kedan team for 6 years with this being his introduction into working life. Starting off in Imports and now working alongside Natasha in accounts helping to keep the financial side of the business running smoothly. Due to working in accounts, Sam couldn't work without his calculator or his tippex!

During his time at Kedan, one of the biggest changes Sam has seen in logistics has been the move from CHIEF to CDS. He also says that no two days are the same with plenty of variety from one day to the next.

Fun fact about Sam... he's a 2nd Dan Belt in Karate, so we are all on our best behaviour around him 😅

First up in our meet the team series... Meet Natasha! 👋

Aside from our founders, Natasha is one of our longest standing members of staff and has been with Kedan for an impressive 15 years. She is our Finance Director, looking after the financial and HR side of the business.

During her time at Kedan, she's seen plenty of changes in logistics, including the introduction of AEO. She also knows better than most just how complex the industry can be, with plenty of external factors that can affect a shipment and require quick thinking to keep everything moving smoothly.

Something you didn't know about Natasha? She's a Black Belt in Krav Maga

The one thing she couldn't work without? Her calculator 🧮

Come back next Monday to meet our next Kedan member!
