Part of the fun of my job is the variation. This particularly nice Sunbeam 44 yacht was Surveyed and sea trialled in Falmouth. Owners’ first boat, and wanted it delivered to Ipswich. Duly obliged, but baptism of fire as we ploughed onto 22-35 knot Easterlies for 48 hours. We kept telling the new owner, as he watched his new boat submerge under another wave ‘sailings not always like this!😂😂🌊🌊💦💦’ All safely delivered, with only minor electrical issues after the bashing.
