Seaworthy Services is an independent marine surveying and consultancy company based in the South West of England. Our main focus is the surveying of yachts and pleasure craft, though do often operate outside of this focus. The company director Mr Tom Hustler brings a wealth of knowledge to the industry, reinforced by his Masters Degree in Marine Surveying. All of our surveyors and consultants are

qualified and willing to travel at short notice. The company is based in Falmouth, Cornwall, though has the ability to operate on a global basis. The way the business operates is diverse in that it has the ability to take on various projects under the surveying and consultancy header. Whether it be surveying for small craft, commercial craft or superyachts, or refit and project management. We also have the skills and knowledge to consult on current rules and regulations in a fast changing marine industry. The company is independent and is not tied down to any other companies (brokers), which makes us free to operate where we are needed. We have a pool of skilled, qualified contacts and professionals in several different countries that we can call in for bigger projects as and when needed. Thus making Seaworthy Services able to adapt to every need of the client without unnecessary wasting of time and/or money.

Registration for the 49th ROLEX Fastnet Race begins at 1000 UTC on Tuesday 12th January 2021.

A new era will begin for the world’s largest offshore yacht race this year. On 8 August 2021, the Rolex Fastnet Race will set sail from Cowes bound for the Fastnet Rock as usual, but then, once the boats have rounded Bishop Rock, they will, for the first time in the race’s 96 year history, point their bows towards Cherbourg, the new finish for the Royal Ocean Racing Club’s premier event.
