The lads from Dunstable plus a couple of locals to make up the numbers had some quality fishing over the weekend with some impressive lumps thrown in. Yesterday was near perfect conditions with calm seas but today a bit of sea had built up so had to calm things down a bit with the seakeeper.
The lure of the weekend was definitely the Sidewinder Lures Skerries, super slim in natural colour.

That was a very H***y weekend in more ways than one. The first wearing a nice purple number tagging along with the Verdant Brewery's annual trip 😂😂.
Then wherever we went at the weekend it was non stop huss with a few more bits thrown in for good measure, and the last drop today we managed 2 dog fish on one trace, one on the hook the other tied in the hook length ðŸĪ”ðŸĪŠ.
It was nice to see the paddle steamer Waverley when leaving the harbour this morning , then see her again steaming past us later in the day.

Yesterday we completed our tuna training, thanks to local trainer Lewis on Zephyr Charters, so that means we should be good to go when the seaso n starts.
We still have dates left one in July 17th, then a few in October. So if you fancy a go with one of these big fish then book a local Falmouth boat that fishes from Falmouth 12 months of the year and get your rod bent. Get in contact if interested.

A bit of residual swell and slop left over from the last few days winds to greet us this morning but the seakeeper soon made it a lot more comfortable to fish.
The lads certainly had plenty of fish to keep them busy today with a wide range of species.
Next charter with space is Sunday the 17th x 2 spaces Sunday 24th x 2 spaces, Monday 25th 2 spaces get in contact if interested in any of those dates.

Due to an admin error from the skipper 🙄 and someone dropping out due to ill health we only had 3 aboard today so it was a good time to try a bit of experimenting on some new ground.
From the off the rods didn't stop with plenty of sport,it only slowed down when the tides picked up a bit.
So the gamble paid off with 3 happy customers and even the skipper was happy 😂.
