Congratulations to our newest RYA Competent Crew and Day Skipper graduates! đŸ„łâ›”

The weather certainly put you through your paces this week, making your achievement even more rewarding. Challenging conditions build confidence, seamanship and valuable real-world experience.

And despite the forecast, the sun did make a brief appearance for this photo! ☀

Well done to everyone who completed their RYA Competent Crew and RYA Day Skipper practical courses this week. We look forward to seeing where your sailing adventures take you next.

I’ve just finished a most excellent adventure, helping to bring back a beautiful big Oyster across the Atlantic Ocean.

Part 1 takes us from Cornwall, to Tortola in the BVI and under way heading to Bermuda. As a very friendly chap on the dock told us ‘three six zero, 1000 miles, can’t miss it!’, catchy, but as navigational advice goes not strictly accurate
.

I was in the BVI for about 36 hours but managed to get in the water which I’m very grateful for.
