Founded initially to haul sawdust and woodchip around Scotland, our customer base has expanded and diversified over the years. Now, delivered products include; bulk sawmill co-product, cereals, loose material for recycling, bulk bags, finished timber & pallets within the UK. At Stevenson Bros, we pride ourselves on a tailored service and an invaluable logistics partner for our customers. We operat

e a fleet of large articulated vehicles with tipper, chipliner curtainsiders and walking floor trailers combinations to move our customers’ goods. Whilst the majority of our fleet is operated from our home in Avonbridge, to provide a prompt and efficient service to our customers, additional vehicles are strategically based elsewhere.

Stevenson Bros (Avonbridge) Ltd has a vacancy for an experienced and qualified LGV Mechanic/Fitter to work at our Avonbridge site in Falkirk. The role requires repairing and maintaining LGV units and a varied range of trailers including walking floors, tippers and curtain sided trailers.
The ideal applicant will have experience of maintaining LGVs whilst making the best use of time and resources. Hours of work are negotiable but due to the nature of the role, there is a weekend work requirement.
Ideally you will come from a time served LGV background having attained appropriate City & Guilds, NVQ, or IRTEC qualifications. More importantly you will have experience of working in an LGV workshop or being a mobile fitter.
