Hi guys! 👋🏼
I thought it was about time I reintroduced myself to all my lovely followers! The last time I did one of these there were around 6,000 of you… and now there are over 8,000! 🤯 So if you’re new here (or you’ve never booked with me before), here’s a little bit about me, what I do, and why I absolutely love it…
☀️ I’m Becky!
I left school back in 1994 (yes… I’m definitely showing my age! 😂). I had absolutely no desire to stay on and do A Levels, but I did know I wanted to work in travel. So I spent two years at college studying Leisure & Tourism, gaining an Advanced GNVQ (the equivalent of three A Levels) and passed with a Distinction 😜
In July 1996, aged just 17, I landed my first full-time job as a Travel Consultant at James Travel in Bishops Cleeve. A year later I joined Lunn Poly in Stratford-upon-Avon and spent the next decade working my way up through various branches until I became Town Manager in Leamington Spa. By then Lunn Poly had become TUI, and I was managing two shops alongside a busy foreign exchange bureau.
👶 Then life changed…
I went on maternity leave with my first daughter and realised I didn’t want to return to long commutes, seven-day retail hours and missing family time. But one thing I did know… I still wanted to be a travel agent!
This was 2006, Teletext holidays were booming 📺 and homeworking was becoming a thing. I figured I had nothing to lose, so I took the leap…
Fast forward another 20 years and I’m still doing what I love! ❤️
In 2017, All About Travel was born and, apart from being a Mum, it’s without doubt my proudest achievement. Today we’re an award-winning, multi-million-pound business with an amazing team of 14 experienced travel agents, all of whom came from high street travel backgrounds. We’ve learnt our trade on the shop floor and now bring that same expertise to customers from the comfort of our home offices.
So… what do I actually do? ✈️
I’m just like your traditional travel agent… except I don’t work on the high street.
That means…
✅ No driving into town.
✅ No paying for parking.
✅ No queueing to be seen.
✅ No trying to squeeze in before the shop closes
✅ No opening hours
Instead, I work from my home office, often during evenings and weekends too, so I can fit around your schedule rather than the other way round.
💁🏻♀️ I work with you to find the holiday that’s absolutely right for you. Being self-employed, I genuinely care about getting it right. Happy customers come back and recommend me to friends and family… and that’s what has built my business over the last 20 years. (Plus… nobody wants to spend hours searching only to get it wrong! 😉)
🚨 As an independent travel agent, backed by Co-op Travel Services, I have access to a huge range of suppliers. I don’t have sales targets pushing me towards one particular tour operator, so I’ll always recommend the holiday that offers the best value and best fit for you.
🌍 With 30 years’ experience in the travel industry and plenty of stamps in my passport, I can also offer first-hand recommendations. In 2026 alone I’ve visited Malta, Egypt (twice, in two different regions!), New Orleans, Crete, Turkey and Zanzibar… and I’m always adding to the list! ✈️
💰 I’ll always be honest with you. If I don’t think somewhere is right for your budget, your family or the type of holiday you’re looking for, I’ll tell you. I’d much rather help you spend your hard-earned money wisely than sell you something I wouldn’t choose myself.
📞 From the moment you send your first enquiry until you’re safely home from your holiday, I’m only ever a phone call or message away. Whether it’s choosing the right hotel, arranging something special, recommending restaurants or answering those last-minute questions… I’m here every step of the way.
