In the event of an accident:

Closures planned for A12, M25 and Dartford Crossing this weekend:

Friday, April 25:
• M25 junction 28 closed in both directions from 10pm to 5am, including lane closures and entry/exit slip roads, for resurfacing works.
• A12 southbound entry slip at junction 25 closed from 9pm to 1am.
• A12 southbound entry slip at junction 23 closed from 1am to 5am.

Saturday, April 26:
• M25 junction 28 closed again in both directions, 10pm to 5am, for resurfacing.
• Dartford Crossing East Tunnel northbound closed 9:30pm to 5am; no vehicles over 4.8m allowed.
• QEII Bridge southbound closed 10pm to 5am.

Sunday, April 27:
• Same M25 junction 28 closures as previous nights.
• Dartford East Tunnel northbound closed and no access for vehicles over 4.8m on Dartford Crossing from 10pm to 5am.

These closures are part of ongoing resurfacing and improvement works around M25 junction 28 and the Dartford Crossing to improve safety and traffic flow.

It could only end one way, couldn’t it ?

The Corsa repeatedly weaved in and out of traffic while travelling over the speed limit, overtaking vehicles and travelling the wrong way around roundabouts.

Eventually, he reached a dead end, where he stopped the vehicle and was apprehended by officers.

In court the driver pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving without a licence and driving while uninsured. He was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment, suspended for two years. He was also disqualified from driving for two years and ordered to pay a surcharge of £187 and court costs of £85.
