Greentown visited Mannok this week to attend a Business in the Community event on Environmental Leadership. The Minister of the Department of Agriculture Andrew Muir MLA was also in attendance. The event was very informative and covered important topics on how good business practices can impact our communities both socially and environmentally.

Greentown are committed to sustainable development across all aspects of our divisions. Our concern for the environment is an integral part of our businesses and it is our aim to reduce the impact of our operations on the environment.

We would like to encourage everyone to make small changes now to be more environmentally responsible, as this will have a positive impact for future generations.

🟡Make It Visible🟡

The Lighthouse Charity visited Greentown Head Office as part of their ‘Make It Visible’ (MiV) Tour this morning.

The MiV Tour travels to construction sites and workplaces across the UK and Ireland to raise awareness of the support available to those working in the construction and infrastructure sectors. The initiative focuses on the three pillars of emotional, physical, and financial well-being and encouraging open conversations about mental health, financial pressures, and other challenges that can affect people both in and out of work.

Jonny and Andy from the charity gave a very informative talk about the charity's work, and both shared their relatable life stories and personal experiences of dealing with the charity for support when they needed it most. The event was enjoyed by all our staff and it helped to encouraged some important discussions!
