“The Drivers Fund” is a Facebook group for professional drivers. They are trying to raise £5,000 to become a registered charity for professional drivers so they can help not only drivers, but their families too.
In light of all the recent tragedies, they are currently looking into setting up a charity for drivers. This would be for drivers who become injured, as in life changing injuries within their industry (this will include heart attacks) or lose their life in their line of duty.
The monies raised would be distributed to the injured or bereaved to help with costs of living or a funeral or held in a trust fund for children.
The have helped drivers that have had their licences revoked, and managed to get the licences back for them…they have helped drivers that have become unable to work… They are interested in all of your honest opinions and if you would be willing to help, donate or advise.
This is a massive task, but they are willing to put in the work and effort required as they feel that this is an industry that doesn’t get the recognition that it deserves. None of us know when or how we will meet our maker, but they work hard to try and ease the pain for loved ones left behind.

We are currently in talks with an international company to provide all of our members with a code when hiring a vehicle through them via our website.
They offer a variety of Cars, SUVs, People Carriers and Vans for personal and commercial use, all at competitive rates.
