Join our dynamic team as a Self Employed Private Hire Driver, where you will enjoy the flexibility of working independently while providing exceptional transportation services.
This role offers the opportunity to operate your own vehicle, primarily focusing on safe, reliable, and efficient passenger journeys, As a self-employed driver, you’ll be responsible for managing your schedule, maintaining your vehicle, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Your driving expertise and excellent communication skills will be key to thriving in this energetic and fast-paced environment.
FOUNDING OWNER DRIVERS WANTED
First 4 weeks – NO circuit fees
Then just 10% commission
Maximum £80 per week
iCabbi driver system included
App, web & telephone bookings

FIRST 10 FOUNDING OWNER-DRIVERS
Weeks 1–4: £0
Weeks 5–16: 10%, maximum £80/week
After week 16: Founding Driver Rate — 12.5%, maximum £100/week
maximum circuit fee will not exceed £100/week for their first 6 months.
Responsibilities
Safely operate your own vehicle to transport passengers across designated routes.
Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
Maintain regular vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Handle passengers loading and unloading goods with care and efficiency
Communicate clearly with clients or customers to confirm details, provide updates, and address any concerns
Manage your schedule effectively to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction
Keep accurate records of trips and vehicle maintenance activities
Experience
Prior driver experience is highly desirable, but new private hire drivers are welcome.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines to ensure ongoing safety and compliance with regulations
Familiarity of local area.
REQUIREMENTS:
Private Hire Vehicle- Fully Compliant to west lothian council licencing rules.
