Sometimes, it's just about getting the basics right. 📦✅

Last Friday, while out on another job, I got a call from Paula. She needed two large boxes collected from an address in Wi******er and delivered to a colleague in Brixton. Straightforward, but time-sensitive and important to get right.

With the arrangements made, I picked up the boxes in Wi******er this morning and set off on the two-hour drive to Brixton 🚐. A welcome change of scenery, and my van being ULEZ compliant meant no extra charges to worry about, even heading into London.

With the boxes delivered safely and the job done, the drive home was interrupted only by a well-earned lunch break. 🥪

The last few days have taken me right across the region - three counties and two London boroughs, to be exact:

🎓 Friday - A local student move in Southampton, out of halls and into a student house.

🛋️ Saturday AM - Furniture removals from Eastleigh, Hampshire to Salisbury, Wiltshire.

📦 Saturday PM - White goods on the move, from a self-storage unit in Eastleigh to their new home in Christchurch, Dorset.

🏙️ Monday - Up to Wimbledon (Merton) to empty a couple's flat, with everything going into storage in Wi******er ahead of their big move later in the week.

🎓 Tuesday - Another student relocation, this time out of halls and all the way to Hayes (Hillingdon).

From Hampshire homes to London boroughs and beyond, whatever the move, I'm on it. 💪

When Keith called me with a flat tyre and a stranded Harley, I was on the road in minutes! 🏍️

Keith rang out of the blue this afternoon - a punctured rear tyre on his Harley-Davidson had left him stranded at Badger Farm in Wi******er. No messing about: I grabbed my ramp and headed straight over.

Getting the bike loaded went without a hitch - up the ramp and into the van, then secured properly with a chock on the front wheel and four ratchet straps across the front forks and rear shock absorbers. It was a smooth journey back to Keith's place where the bike was carefully unloaded ready to be rolled safely into his garage.

Best part of the job? Sticking around afterwards for a good chat about bikes, with Keith showing me the other two beauties in his collection. Jobs like this are a genuine pleasure.

When the removals lorry runs out of room, that's exactly when I come in! 🚐💨

A local family were mid-move yesterday when they hit a snag - the hired removals lorry simply wasn't big enough for everything, and with the clock ticking, the family needed urgent help.

When they contacted me, I stepped in straight away, collecting the remaining items from the house, garden, and garage to make sure nothing got left behind. A few hours later and four van-loads delivered, the family's move was back on track.
