Eastleigh Lakeside Miniature Railway

Moving on to the second special of June 14th which will be our second day of our miniature giants of steam gala weekend. This time we bring an extra special Lakeside Limited.

Departing Parkway at 13:00 we will be running our Upton Memorial Lunchtime Limited. In tribute to the late great founder of the Eastleigh Lakeside Railway, Clive Upton. This train will perform two non-stop full circuits of the railway, double headed by 1001 The Monarch & 1002 The Empress.

Only return or day rover tickets will be valid on this train. Single tickets are not valid.
We would highly recommend the purchase of a day rover ticket as this will give you UNLIMITED RIDES for the entire day of your visit!

As we head into the fun and games of June 14th, day 2 of our miniature giants of steam gala weekend. Lets see what starts this day off.

We kick off this day with our Para-Lakes Express. Where we have two trains conducting not only their own Lakes Express circuits but at times will be racing each other across the park! One Train will be hauled by 6220 Coronation, the other Double Headed by 4498 Sir Nigel Gresley, and 1001 The Monarch. These trains will be departing Parkway at approximately 09:20 & 09:30.

Only return or day rover tickets will be valid on this train. Single tickets are not valid.
We would highly recommend the purchase of a day rover ticket as this will give you UNLIMITED RIDES for the entire day of your visit!

This train is first come first served so we recommend being at the railway at 09:00, once again just in time for The Lakeside Cafe to start serving breakfast!

This week has been , we are always thankful for our volunteers. But here's extra special shout out to them all! We couldn't do it without you!

Whether its driving the train, clipping tickets, selling ice creams in the shop or those who put in hours of free labour for the railway behind the scenes, we could not do it without your devotion. Volunteers are railways most vital asset and we have recently just welcomed a new batch into our ranks, we look forward to making you a part of our Lakeside family!

Hello! Here is your weekly sneak peek to this weekends rostered locomotive.
No. 1003 Western Queen will be running the trains both Saturday and Sunday.

Doors open at 10:00 and the last train departs Parkway at 16:15.

Looking at the final special train of the day of June 13th for our miniature giants of steam gala weekend. We bring you the Sunset Lakes Express!

The Sunset Lakes Express is another non-stop 2 ½ mile trip of the railway. This will be hauled by 2005 Silver Jubilee and 1002 The Empress. Departing Parkway at 16:30.

Only return or day rover tickets will be valid on this train. Single tickets are not valid.
We would highly recommend the purchase of a day rover ticket as this will give you UNLIMITED RIDES for the entire day of your visit!

This train is first come first served so we recommend being ready on the platform at Parkway at 16:10. If it turns out to be a nice summers evening, you may want to grab a ice cream or ice lolly from our shop on platform 1 before departing off into the sunset!

Good Morning! We are still open!
We are remaining open daily until the end of September. With our resident diesel engines providing this off peak service.

Usual times, usual prices and the mini golf is still open!

First train departs Parkway between 10:00-10:15 and the last train departs at 16:15. Last train departs Monks Brook at 16:30.
