Specialist Delivery to Sizewell C – How Oxendean Couriers Helped Keep a Major Infrastructure Project Moving

At Oxendean Couriers, every delivery is important, but some jobs require a little more planning, care and attention than others.

Recently, we were contacted by a local specialist drilling company that needed critical drilling equipment delivered to the Sizewell C Power Station project in Suffolk. The equipment was required on-site to support ongoing survey and ground investigation work, making timely delivery essential to avoid delays on one of the UK’s largest construction projects.

Careful Handling of Specialist Equipment

The load included specialist drilling and surveying equipment, protective cases, cable reels and associated accessories. As with all technical equipment, careful loading and securing were vital to ensure everything arrived in perfect condition.

Before departure, the equipment was professionally secured inside our van using heavy-duty ratchet straps and protective transit blankets. This prevented any movement during transport and provided additional protection against damage.

The photographs below show the equipment safely loaded and secured before leaving for Suffolk.
