🏁Birthday Banger Bash! 🏁

Last weeks job at Swaffham Raceway was a great day out for everyone involved.
We supplied 20 built bangers for a 60th birthday (wow! What a way to celebrate your 60th)
40 friends and relatives came along to take on the birthday boy and what an amazing day they all had.
First of all they selected a car, then went to work decorating them before the really exciting bit of actually racing them in a “banger race”
15 races they had in all so everyone got to have a good few races, eventually ending with an all out final with 18 of the 20 still mobile and able to take part.
Our crew worked their magic in the pit area to keep them going so hats off to them.

Happy 2024 to all our friends and customers

I’m not one for loads of posts but as it’s a new year why not!
2023 was a slightly radical year for us and it worked out ok, so we will be carrying on just the same this year.
Last year we wanted to take our foot off the gas a bit, so decided to stop providing the regular hire cars.
This was to free up valuable weekends, instead we decided to concentrate on the tv, media and corporate hire cars, along with the starter kits which proved very popular instead.

Last Saturday seems so long ago now but what a great night down at Arlington for the B2B Bangers.
Should of been a bit manic but all was in hand with the great crew I had on the night.
So close to a 1-2-3 in our first heat with Cecil following 848 Luke Roots and 452 Harry Eyles until they got caught up on the last lap and Cecil getting the win.
The final 73 Danny Reid was leading until a restart ended his chances. The DD was amusing with 274 Jason Reid attacking his brother with a few shots. All in all a great night and even better with the return of the original rent a rookie customer no1 James “Spike” Lawrence. His first time racing with us was as far back as 2003

Great day out yesterday at Aldershot. We had Ross Harris and all the way from Gloucester George Pegram.
Both had a fun packed day finishing a few good races and competing in all 3. Both looking forward to racing again in 2023 😃

What a great weekend. Northampton Saturday with Kelvin Jackson who had a good day, 2 finishes and a big crash in the DD.
Hednesford Sunday with Jason Rowe and Dan Stanton who 1 hour before start time knew nothing about banger racing thanks to a complete surprise from his stag group, but he took to it amazingly well with a 2nd in ht1 and a win in ht2 unfortunately a puncture ended his chance of a top 3 in the final.
Jason come back smiling with 2 finishes and a pretty big crash in the final

Saturday @ Northampton was a good night for our 3 drivers Scott, Aaron and Martin.
All 3 drivers enjoying all 3 races 😃
