A little bit of an appreciation post….. supporting other local businesses.

4 Seasons Harbour and Seamoors Bar are under new management.
What an instant impact the new boys in town are having on the businesses.

We had a lovely breakfast at 4 seasons this morning.
It’s amazing the difference that a few tweaks make (see photo).
The chaps do have bigger ideas/remodelling planned for the restaurant and the bar, but the initial improvements have been a massive success, and much needed. They are only just getting started by their own admission.

If you are local, or are visiting for one of my trips, I highly recommend you pay them a visit for a coffee, a pint of locally brewed Sovereign L***r, a proper breakfast, homemade cakes or a Sunday roast from their new menu.

🎣 OCTOBER & NOVEMBER AVAILABILITY 🎣

Prices -
8 Hours - £60pp (plus rods and bait)
4 Hours - £45pp (plus rods and bait)

Here’s our upcoming availability for October and November. We’ve got a good mix of 4-hour and full 8-hour trips coming up, with individual spaces available as well as whole boat bookings.

Fishing has been really good lately with plenty of variety showing — bass, rays, congers, huss, po***ck, bream and plenty more.

As we get further into winter we’ll also start pushing further afield for the likes of spurdogs, congers, rays and hopefully a few cod.

🏆 WINTER SPECIES LEAGUE STARTS IN NOVEMBER!

Something new for us this winter and it’s completely FREE to enter for anyone fishing aboard.

Every different species you catch counts towards your total and we’ll keep a leaderboard running throughout the league.

💷 Great cash prizes & fishing credit up for grabs!

It’s just a bit of fun and friendly competition, but should give everyone another reason to get out fishing through the winter and see how many different species we can find.

We’ve also got the new catamaran making her appearance this winter, so plenty to look forward to! 👀🎣

‼️MORNING‼️

Those of you with eagle eyes will have noticed that I’ve been a little quiet on here recently. Well it’s not without good reason……

The good news is, that with massive thanks to some of you amazing lot, we are a lot closer to getting back on the water.
Deep Blue will be the best she’s ever been in a few weeks.

Forever grateful for the opportunity to do this as a living, and to those of you who show your support towards me and my family in more ways than one 🙏🏻.

🔵 Today, Monday 14th September 🔵

A challenge one. Drifting wasn’t the answer, anchoring was, but we had to wait until the tide dropped offshore without the need to use 2lbs of lead with the massive tide and wind with.
Drifting at 3kts is problematic, even with the most competent lure anglers onboard.

A nice haul of bream, with a few other species thrown in the mixer for this crew.
Fish, and rod of the day went to Keith for this 10lb 11oz Bull Huss caught right at the end of the trip.
That very Huss gave me a bit of a rash while wrangling it onto the scales. I’m ok, so don’t worry 🤪
