Had an incredible evening at Smoking Lobster Cowes—a true gem on the Isle of Wight! From the moment we arrived, the team provided first-class service, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for.

We indulged in a delightful three-course meal, each dish showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to fresh, locally sourced seafood and Pan-Asian fusion cuisine. The flavors were vibrant and expertly balanced, reflecting the culinary passion of Chef and his team. 

Complementing our meal were a selection of artfully crafted cocktails, each one a perfect blend of taste and presentation. The ambiance of the restaurant, with its elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, added to the overall exceptional dining experience.

Whether you’re a local or visiting the island, Smoking Lobster Cowes is a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts. We will definitely be returning and wholeheartedly recommend it to our friends and family!

A standout evening at La Bella Vista in St Leonards-on-Sea—this elegant Italian restaurant combines authentic flavours with breathtaking coastal views. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about hospitality.

We enjoyed a beautifully paced three-course meal, each dish crafted with care and full of rich, traditional Italian character. The pasta was fresh, the seafood perfectly cooked, and the desserts were a dream. A round of expertly mixed cocktails complemented the meal and added to the overall relaxed, refined experience.

La Bella Vista isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a destination. Perfect for date nights, special occasions, or simply soaking up the sea views over great food. We’ll definitely be back.

Ross’ Reviews: Our first visit to The George in Yarmouth promised a premium dining experience—but sadly didn’t deliver. From waiting 15 minutes just to be acknowledged, to being served a used pot of mayonnaise with our lobster, the service fell short of expectations. While the starter was enjoyable and management kindly offered a complimentary dessert and wine after we raised concerns, the overall experience was underwhelming. With so many outstanding restaurants on the Isle of Wight, we have to call this one ‘average at best’
