Throughout September, we celebrated Sustainable September with a variety of incentives and events for our whole team to get involved in. Here are just a few highlights of what we got up to!
🛍️ From start to finish, we hosted a pop-up shops at all our sites with items kindly donated by some of our amazing customers. This not only helped reduce waste but also raised money for our charity of the year, Chestnut Tree House, with a fantastic grand total of £8660 raised!
💚 We celebrated Green Day by asking everyone to come in wearing an item of green clothing.
🚯 On World Cleanup Day, our East Grinstead teams got stuck in with litter picking to support the local community.
👗We also saw the introduction of the BAG It Campaign where we asked our teams to fill a bag with good quality items for our charity Chestnut Tree House to sell in their shops.
♻️ We wrapped up the month with Recycling Week, joined by Grundon, who delivered an engaging session on the importance of recycling - not just our own waste, but our customers’ too.
What a month it's been! We’re so proud of the enthusiasm and commitment shown by our teams throughout the month, it’s a great reminder of the difference we can make when we work together for a more sustainable future! 💚♻️💪
