🚂🇵🇰 CHAK AMRU RAILWAY STATION — A FORGOTTEN PIECE OF PAKISTAN’S HISTORY

A memorable visit to Chak Amru Railway Station with friends — the last railway station of Pakistan towards the north-east, located on the Narowal–Chak Amru Branch Line.

For us, this was more than just a journey. It was an attempt to explore and document a forgotten railway section that has rarely been explored on social media.

Sadly, the entire railway line has been abandoned for approximately 22 years. Today, the tracks and station stand silent, slowly fading away with time. 💔

🇵🇰 This is not just an abandoned railway line — it is Pakistan’s heritage and a national asset.

We sincerely hope the Government of Pakistan and Pakistan Railways will take notice and, if technically and economically feasible, consider rehabilitating this historic railway section and restoring passenger train services.

Imagine the day when a train whistle echoes through Chak Amru again… 🚆❤️

Our heritage deserves to be preserved, not forgotten.
